Jimmy Gets a Second Chance at Life

Jimmy Ochoa Coroxon was just a month old and his parents were increasingly concerned about him being underweight. His mother, Elsy Coroxon, age 35, was also lacking in vitamin and mineral intake sufficient for nursing her newborn. Desperate for help, she made an appointment to see a doctor who gave her little hope that her son would survive.

Someone recommended that Elsy go to the Center for Nutritional Recovery in Tzununa. Upon arriving, Elsy was told that Jimmy was malnourished and would be admitted as a patient for intensive treatment. His condition was serious, but the pediatrician and nurses on staff worked on both Elsy and Jimmy to ensure their full recovery.
